A new ingredient in aquaculture feed will be created, which will reduce the environmental footprint of energy production and feed production.<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Aquaculture in Europe is limited by the cost and supply of feed. Traditional raw materials from wild fish and soy are expensive, ecologically harmful and often require imports outside the European Economic Area.<br><br>E2F will develop the world&#039;s first truly sustainable algae production in a controlled environment to achieve consistent quality all year round.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It will provide the next generation of ingredients to the European aquaculture sector to support sustainable growth in the future.
