Verkefnalýsing:
The aim is to optimize, purify and enzymatically modified polysaccharides derived from the marine environment. Several of candidates will be screen for their immunomodulating effect, aiming to link their function with certain structures. This will be done by using immune cell models, NMR, and other analytical methods.
