Icelandic schools have the opportunity to apply for a ProBleu grant

Matís and the project BioProtect draw attention to the fact that Icelandic schools have the opportunity to apply for a Pro Bleu grant:

Grant: ProBleu funding call

ProBleu aims to strengthen the network of European Blue Schools by offering grants of up to €7,500 for projects focused on increasing understanding of water and the ocean. Applications must be submitted by 23 May at 17:00 CET.

What is ProBleu?

ProBleu supports schools that are at the forefront of teaching children about the protection of oceans and freshwater. Over the next three years, ProBleu will offer grants to at least 100 schools for exciting projects. Schools can receive up to €7,500 for projects lasting up to one year.

Who can apply for the grant

The ProBleu grant is specifically intended for schools in countries with representatives in Blue Schools the network: Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Germany, Iceland, Ireland, Kosovo, Luxembourg, Malta, Montenegro, Norway, Slovenia and Ukraine. This does not, however, prevent schools from other countries from applying for the grant.
