Matís has received confirmation from SWEDAC of new accreditations for three important analyses. These are fluoride measurements in water at the chemistry department in Reykjavík, as well as PCR analyses for Salmonella and Listeria monocytogenes in fish at the microbiology department in Neskaupstaður.

The accreditation is a clear recognition of the strong expertise and rigorous working practices of Matís staff. Laboratory staff and specialist researchers have worked systematically to bring these analyses under Matís accreditation, thereby ensuring they meet the strict international requirements for quality and reliability set out in the ISO 17025 standard.

The new PCR analyses in Neskaupstaður are particularly welcome, as they directly address the needs of clients in East Iceland and support fast and reliable service in the local area. The fluoride measurements likewise mark an important step in the continued development of Matís's environmental monitoring capabilities.

These accreditations reflect Matís's strength in responding swiftly and professionally to the needs of its clients. As a leading service provider in Iceland, Matís is committed to delivering flexible and reliable services to companies and institutions in food production, environmental monitoring, and various forms of inspection, where it is important that these parties have access to professional and accredited services domestically.
