The aim of this project is to extract and study valuable ingredients, ie. fucoxanthin, alginates and fucoidan, from hrat, i.e. what is included in the production of biostimulant liquid for plants from kelp, which can be used in food supplements or foods. With this event, the possibilities of fully utilizing the biomass will be explored and thus a great increase in value.

Isea's long-term goal is to set up step-by-step value utilization in its production system, where all raw materials and side streams become usable products in the spirit of the circular economy.
