The project contributes to improved utilization of raw materials from the sea and thereby increased value of seafood.
The aim is to develop alginate and laminarin polysaccharides from seaweed that can be used in the production of bioplastics and other valuable polymeric materials.
The production takes place by the interaction of enzymes in one reaction solution.
