The aim of the project is to provide the horticulture with tools that help it to strengthen its position and convey to buyers the uniqueness and loyalty of domestic production.
For this purpose, quality measurements are made on Icelandic and imported vegetables as well as measuring selected health factors. The project draws attention to special breeding conditions in Iceland and thus links the results of measurements of quality and hygiene to the breeding conditions. Promotional material will be prepared so that it can be used for horticulture on websites, in advertisements and in other presentations. The project began in 2020 and will end in 2021. The sponsor is the Agricultural Productivity Fund.
