The main purpose of the project is to produce astaxanthin-rich fish oil from erythrocyte-rich side streams generated during mackerel processing.

A new collection method will be used with the aim of the best collection collection of erythrocytes and in the same way three different processing methods will be used for the production of astaxanthin-rich fish oil.
