The goal of the project is to fully process valuable substances, such as astaxanthin, chitin, polyunsaturated omega-3 fatty acids and fatty alcohols from redfish that reach the country as secondary raw materials or bycatch from pelagic fishing. Innovative processing methods will be tested and prototypes of three high-quality products will be developed from the red ore.
