The project LuLam wrap is about developing food packaging, from the raw materials of Icelandic alaska and kelp.

There is a huge need for environmentally friendly disposable packaging for food.
The goal of the project "LuLam wrap" is to develop and test environmentally friendly, biodegradable packaging for Icelandic foods, from raw Icelandic Alaskan scallops and kelp.

This is a collaborative project sponsored by Matvælasjóð and carried out by Efnasmíðjunni, Sedna-Biopack, Matís and Sälufélag Garðyrkjumanna.
